Lantern Path

Lantern Path is the calm one. You guide a traveler through hand-painted scenes, solving light environmental puzzles and uncovering a quiet story told almost entirely without words. There's no timer, no fail state, just exploration.

Controls are as simple as tapping where you want to go and dragging objects into place. Because nothing is rushing you, the touch targets are generous and mistakes are cheap. We found it a lovely wind-down game before sleep.

It barely touches the battery, which fits its nature perfectly. The soundtrack is a highlight — soft and unobtrusive — and we recommend headphones to get the full effect of the ambient design.
